Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
- Food coloring (blue, purple, pink)
- Edible glitter or star sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly until smooth and melted.
- Divide and Color: Divide the melted mixture into separate bowls, depending on how many colors you want. Add food coloring to each bowl and mix until well combined.
- Create the Galaxy Effect: Drop spoonfuls of each colored mixture randomly into the prepared pan. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the colors together, creating a galaxy effect.
- Add the Stars: Sprinkle edible glitter or star sprinkles over the top.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Cut and Serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and enjoy your cosmic creation!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can substitute half of the semi-sweet chocolate chips with dark chocolate chips.
- Make sure to stir continuously while melting the chocolate to prevent it from burning.
- Use gel food coloring for more vibrant colors without altering the texture of the fudge.
