- Ground beef: 1 lb
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Pepper: 1 tsp
- Garlic powder: 1 tsp
- Onion powder: 1 tsp
- Shredded lettuce: 2 cups
- Diced onions: 1 cup
- Pickle slices: 1 cup
- Shredded cheddar cheese: 1 cup
- Taco shells: 8
- Special sauce:
- Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
- Ketchup: 2 tbsp
- Sweet pickle relish: 2 tbsp
- Vinegar: 1 tsp
- Sugar: 1 tsp
- Onion powder: 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drain excess fat.
- Make the Special Sauce: In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, vinegar, sugar, and onion powder until well combined.
- Assemble the Tacos: Heat taco shells according to package instructions. Spread a generous amount of special sauce inside each shell.
- Add the Beef: Spoon the seasoned ground beef into each taco shell.
- Top It Off: Add shredded lettuce, diced onions, pickle slices, and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
