- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- n a large bowl, mix together ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Pour marinara sauce into the skillet, covering the meatballs. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes: For a gluten-free version, substitute breadcrumbs with almond flour. Add a pinch of chili flakes for an extra kick.
