Ingredients

    1. Preparation: Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment and lightly grease. Set aside.
    2. Marshmallow Mixture: In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows (excluding reserved cup) until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt.
    3. Combine: Fold in Golden Grahams cereal until well coated. Then, gently mix in chocolate chips and optional nuts.
    4. Set: Transfer mixture to prepared pan, pressing gently. Sprinkle reserved marshmallows on top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
    5. Serve: Lift bars out, cut into squares, and optionally drizzle with caramel sauce.
