- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Sea salt flakes, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Peanut Butter Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
- Shape the Eggs: Scoop out the dough and form egg shapes. Place on a lined baking sheet and chill for 1 hour.
- Chocolate Coating: Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together. Dip each egg into chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on the baking sheet.
- Garnish: Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if desired. Chill until set.
Notes:
- For vegan versions, use plant-based butter and chocolate.
- Crunchy peanut butter can be substituted for a textured variation.
