- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the chili flakes and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp until pink, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and chili-paprika mix. Sauté until fragrant.
- Return shrimp to skillet. Toss with sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and parsley. Adjust seasoning.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
